The Interrupted Dream
As part of the 2011 celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the founding
of the Republic of China, Taipei's New Aspect Cultural and Education Foundation
will present a revival of the 1982 play,
The Interrupted Dream written by Hsien-yung Pai.
Qian Yi joins and ensemble
cast in this play that explores the relationships and rivalries between
a group of Chinese opera divas, as they make a new life in Taiwan after
emigrating from China in 1949.
The Interrupted Dream
will be performed at National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan
from January 2nd, 2010 to January 7th, 2010.
