The Years Flow Like Water
premieres at the 31st
Asian American International Film Festival. The film is the final
one in the "Experience Level Up" shorts program, which features stories
of Asian Americans facing adversities and acquiring hard-won knowledge
and experience. Director Kevin Choi
is on hand for the Q&A.
In Kevin Choi's
independent film, The Years Flow Like
Water, tells the story of a family of Chinese
opera performers living in America. The film spans an entire generation
so Qian Yi, as
both wife and mother, had to age over 20 years in the course of the film.
